The family and friends of Mr. Julio Puente have established a scholarship fund in memory of this dedicated educator, social worker and coach who inspired young people around the world with his optimism and generosity.

The fund presents annual scholarships, sponsors softball clinics and baseball leagues for Newark students, and offers part-time job opportunities for high school and college students.
